RANCHI: Central Coalfields Limited (CCL) has invited students, young professionals, photographers, social media creators and public relations practitioners to participate in five competition categories ahead of its National PR Conclave 2026, scheduled for November 4 and 5 in Ranchi.
Organised by CCL’s Corporate Communications and Public Relations Department, the two-day conclave will be held at Sangam Sabhagar, Gangotri Convention Centre, at the company’s Darbhanga House campus. This year’s theme is “From Algorithm to Authenticity: Innovate. Influence. Impact”.
The last date for submission of entries is October 28, 2026, at 5 pm, according to the competition brochure.
Five categories for creative talent
The competitions cover filmmaking, social media influence, photography and promotional communication. The short-film category has two separate themes, taking the total to five competition categories.
The first short-film competition invites films of two to three minutes on eco-mine tourism and tourism in Jharkhand. Participants can showcase the state’s cultural traditions, greenery, tourism potential and eco-mine tourism initiatives.
The second short-film category focuses on the traditions and significance of Durga Puja and Dussehra celebrations in Jharkhand. Selected films will be showcased at the conclave.
The Best Influencer in Social Media/Rising PR Star category is open to people working in public relations, advertising and social media. Applicants can submit their profiles, initiatives, follower numbers and viewership details.
Under the Golden Shutter Award for Photography, participants can submit their two best original photographs on any theme. Images must be in high definition and may be submitted in landscape or portrait format.
The fifth category recognises efforts to promote and publicise National PR Conclave 2026. Participants can submit creative content, brochures, themes, reels or films related to the event, whether produced by CCL or independently, with recognition based on outreach and views.
Entries close on October 28
The brochure lists first, second and third prizes, along with one consolation prize. It states that the judges’ decision will be final.
Interested participants can register through the form linked to the QR code in CCL’s competition brochure. The organisation has also provided the following helpline numbers for enquiries: 9118413325, 7488497047, 7541892203 and 9771433566.

Conclave to focus on communication in the digital era
The conclave is intended to bring together public relations professionals, media representatives, influencers, corporate communicators, academics and students to discuss emerging practices in communication.
The programme is expected to include keynote addresses, panel discussions and workshops on digital branding, media engagement, image building and collaboration across sectors.
CCL, a subsidiary of Coal India Limited under the Ministry of Coal, hosted its National PR Conclave in Ranchi in 2025 as well. The 2026 edition will continue the platform’s focus on communication, storytelling and public relations in a rapidly changing digital environment.
