CM Hemant Soren assures industry body of pro-business push

Chief Minister Hemant Soren reiterated the state government’s commitment to industrial development, saying industry remains the backbone of Jharkhand’s economy and that sustained efforts are underway to create a more business-friendly environment.

Soren was speaking during a meeting with a delegation of the Federation of Jharkhand Chamber of Commerce and Industries (FJCCI) at his official residence on Kanke Road. The delegation held detailed discussions with the Chief Minister on industrial growth, effective implementation of policies and issues faced by industrial units across the state.

Members of the delegation highlighted several practical challenges confronting the industry sector and shared suggestions for resolving them. The Chief Minister listened to the concerns and assured the delegation that the government would take prompt action on the issues raised. He said necessary instructions would be issued to the concerned departments to ensure timely resolution.

“The industry sector plays a crucial role in strengthening the state’s economy. The government is fully committed to promoting industrial growth and ensuring a supportive ecosystem for businesses,” Soren said, according to an official release. He added that the government is continuously working to simplify procedures and improve the ease of doing business in order to attract investment and expand employment opportunities.

The FJCCI delegation was led by its president Aditya Malhotra and included vice-president Ram Bangar, general secretary Rohit Agarwal, joint secretaries Navjot Alang and Rohit Poddar, treasurer Anil Agarwal, and executive committee members Mukesh Agarwal, Manish Shraf and Dr Abhishek Ramadhin.

Industry representatives welcomed the Chief Minister’s assurance and expressed hope that coordinated efforts between the government and the industry would accelerate Jharkhand’s economic growth.
