India Will Become a $40 Trillion Economy by 2047: Siddharth Rastogi

“India’s rapid development will occur between 2030 and 2057, and our country will rank first or a very close second in the global economy. By then, we will have become a $40 trillion economy,” said renowned economist Siddharth Rastogi from Mumbai while expressing these views at a discussion organized by the Deoghar unit of Swadeshi Jagran Manch on the topic “Viksit Bharat 2047” (Developed India 2047).

He stated that the three major economic reforms – Jan Dhan accounts, demonetization, and GST – have brought about tremendous transformation in the country. Referring to the praise given by Prime Minister Narendra Modi to the book ‘Note Badli Se Notebandi: Bharat Ke Aarthik Mahashakti Banne Ki Sankalp Yatra Evam Uplabdhiyan’ (From Note Change to Demonetization: The Resolve Journey and Achievements of India Becoming an Economic Superpower) written by author Rajesh Jha, he emphasized that the book should be read by everyone to gain real insight into the changes.

Rastogi added that it is the duty of us Indians to work hard not only for personal but also for social and economic progress, donate 10% of our income, and undertake a pilgrimage to at least one holy site every year.

Earlier, journalist and economic writer Rajesh Jha introduced Siddharth Rastogi, saying that it was from him that he understood the difference between economics and economics (likely referring to a nuanced distinction in the field).

The discussion was presided over by veteran freedom fighter Gaurishankar Sharma, welcomed by Manoj Kumar Singh, member of the National Council of Swadeshi Jagran Manch, and the vote of thanks was proposed by Sanjay Singh, District Coordinator of Swadeshi Jagran Manch, Deoghar.

Industrialist Pradeep Bajla, renowned social worker Kamlesh Tulsyan, Executive Engineer Prakash Chandra Singh, mayoral candidate Sunil Kumar Gupta, Ram Sewak Singh Gunjan, Babu Sona Shringari, Pankaj Singh Bhadouriya, and approximately fifty other participants attended the discussion.
