Jharkhand’s tableau will be among the major attractions at Bharat Parv 2026, being held at the Red Fort as part of the Republic Day celebrations.
The tableau will highlight the state’s lush greenery, rich biodiversity, wildlife conservation efforts, and deep-rooted tribal culture, presenting Jharkhand as a leading example of nature-based and sustainable tourism. Designed around the national theme “Swatantrata ka Mantra: Vande Mataram” and the vision of a Viksit Bharat, the display draws a strong connection between patriotism, nature, and inclusive development.
A key visual element of the tableau will be Dassam Falls, one of Jharkhand’s most iconic natural landmarks. The presence of wildlife such as the Asian elephant and nilgai will symbolise the state’s biodiversity and ongoing conservation initiatives. The tableau also reflects the close relationship between Jharkhand’s tribal communities and the natural environment, portraying traditional lifestyles rooted in forests, water, and ecological balance.
Through this presentation, Jharkhand aims to position itself as a hub for eco-tourism and adventure tourism while reinforcing its commitment to environmental protection and sustainable development.
Bharat Parv 2026 will be held at the Red Fort premises from January 26 to January 31. The event, organised annually by the Ministry of Tourism, brings together tableaux from various states and Union Territories, showcasing India’s cultural diversity, natural heritage, and developmental journey.
The festival will be open to the public free of charge every day from 12 noon to 9 pm. In addition to the tableaux, visitors will be able to enjoy traditional cuisines from across the country through food stalls, making Bharat Parv a comprehensive cultural experience beyond the Republic Day parade.
