Jharkhand@25: A Month of Celebration and Citizen Services
Jharkhand will mark its 25th Foundation Day with a month-long celebration under the theme Jharkhand@25, blending cultural events, public service delivery, and employment initiatives. From exhibitions honouring Birsa Munda and Shibu Soren to the large-scale Aapki Sarkar–Aapke Dwar campaign, the Silver Jubilee aims to connect citizens directly with governance and celebrate the state’s 25-year journey.
Jharkhand is preparing to celebrate its 25th Foundation Day with a month-long programme under the theme “Jharkhand@25”, integrating cultural commemorations, historical tributes, and citizen-centric governance initiatives. Scheduled from November 11 to 29, 2025, the celebrations mark a quarter-century of statehood and aim to create a tangible impact on public services and employment.
The plan was approved during a high-level meeting chaired by Chief Secretary Avinash Kumar on October 29, reflecting a strategy that combines ceremonial grandeur with a focus on administration and welfare delivery.
Citizen-Centric Governance at the Core
One of the most notable aspects of this year’s celebration is the emphasis on doorstep governance, highlighting the state government’s commitment to transparency, efficiency, and public service.
“Aapki Yojana–Aapki Sarkar–Aapke Dwar” Campaign:
Dates: November 18 – December 15, 2025
Focus: On-the-spot issuance of critical documents including income, caste, and residential certificates.
Welfare Integration: The programme aims to maximize citizen enrolment in state welfare schemes, ensuring wider outreach across urban and rural areas.
Digital Platforms: To enhance visibility and transparency, the government will launch an “Inaugural Portal” for information on all upcoming inaugurations and foundation stones. A dedicated “Jharkhand@25 Portal” will capture the entire Silver Jubilee celebration with photos, videos, and updates from across the state.
Employment Drive: The closing ceremony on November 29 at Morabadi Maidan, Ranchi, will feature a large-scale Appointment Letter Distribution for thousands of job aspirants. The School Education and Literacy Department has been designated as the nodal agency for the event. An audio-visual presentation will showcase the government’s one-year achievements, highlighting initiatives in education, health, and infrastructure.
Cultural and Historical Tribute (Nov 11–16)
The first phase of Jharkhand@25 will celebrate the state’s rich cultural heritage and pay tribute to its historical leaders. The celebrations coincide with the birth anniversary of tribal icon Bhagwan Birsa Munda on November 15.
Main Ceremony: November 15 at Morabadi Maidan, followed by a cultural programme on November 16.

The Silver Jubilee will also feature the launch of a “Jharkhand@25 Souvenir”, documenting the state’s 25-year journey in terms of governance, development, culture, and social progress.
Setting a Governance Benchmark
Jharkhand@25 is not limited to ceremonial events; it is a strategic initiative to strengthen administrative outreach and ensure citizen participation in governance. By combining cultural festivities with doorstep governance and employment initiatives, the state is positioning its Silver Jubilee as both a celebration and a milestone for future development.
Officials emphasize that the programme aims to leave a lasting impact on Jharkhandis, connecting them more closely to government schemes while also celebrating the state’s unique heritage.
