RANCHI, March 20: Officials of the Jharkhand Information and Public Relations Department visited Raipur to study the functioning of “Chhattisgarh Samvad” as part of efforts to strengthen dissemination of employment-related information in the state.

The visit, held on March 19 and 20, focused on understanding the publication model and operational framework of the Chhattisgarh government’s communication platform.

During the visit, officials reviewed the weekly publication “Rojgar Aur Niyojan”, which provides information on government jobs, schemes and career guidance.

Officials said the magazine serves as a consolidated source of information, particularly for candidates preparing for competitive examinations.

Assistant Editor Geetanjali Netam briefed the visiting team on the structure, content and utility of the publication, highlighting its role in providing organised and reliable information to job seekers.

The Jharkhand delegation included Deputy Director Anand Kumar, Assistant Director Sunita Dhan and Legal Consultant Aman Kumar.

Officials said the team examined the editorial workflow, content structure and distribution mechanisms of the publication.

Members of the delegation said such a model could help provide structured and verified information to youth in Jharkhand and support them in career planning.

According to officials, the state is considering launching a similar publication to provide employment-related information on a single platform.

They said a proposal in this regard will be placed before Chief Minister Hemant Soren for further consideration.

Officials said the initiative aims to improve access to information related to jobs, schemes and career opportunities for youth in the state.

They added that strengthening information systems can support students preparing for competitive examinations and improve awareness about government programmes.

Officials of “Chhattisgarh Samvad” also shared their experience in managing the publication and highlighted key aspects of content development and outreach.
