Jharkhand Chamber’s Business Exchange Meetings Driving New Trade Collaborations

The Federation of Jharkhand Chamber of Commerce and Industries’ Business Exchange Meeting series is emerging as an effective platform for trade collaboration, fostering stronger business networks across the state.

At the latest meeting held at the Chamber Bhawan in Ranchi, entrepreneurs from diverse sectors participated and explored new business opportunities through direct interaction.

Participants shared insights into their businesses and services, enabling better understanding and trust among members. Several participants reported on-the-spot business engagements, while others initiated discussions for long-term collaborations.

Members also shared positive feedback from previous meetings, stating that the initiative has helped accelerate their business growth and expand networks.

Chamber Vice President Ram Bangar said efforts are underway to expand the Business Exchange platform across Jharkhand through zonal representatives (RVPs), ensuring wider participation of traders.

New Initiative: “Padharo Hamare Pratishthan”

The Chamber also announced a new initiative titled “Padharo Hamare Pratishthan”. Under this:

  • Members will host fellow members at their business establishments
  • Businesses will showcase their products and services
  • Special discounts will be offered to Chamber members for a limited period
  • Networking and interaction sessions will be organised

In the first phase, Rohatgi Home Bazaar at Argora Chowk has agreed to participate. The schedule will be announced soon.

Chamber’s View

Vice President Praveen Lohiya said the initiative goes beyond introductions and is evolving into a practical platform for business opportunities.

Ram Bangar added that a separate Business Exchange framework is being designed for women entrepreneurs, with specific incentives and support measures.

Sub-committee Chairman Amit Mishra emphasised the need for organised efforts to promote local trade and said such meetings will be expanded further to strengthen the “Vocal for Local” approach.
